Retrofit West Advice is a service for residents in the West of England who want to make
their homes more energy efficient and reduce their energy bills. The project has been set up
by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority and is provided by Retrofit West CIC.

provide clear, concise advice that is easy to understand and implement. Their goal is to help
you feel empowered and confident about the choices you make for your home. By giving the

Home Energy Service from Bath & West Community Energy (BWCE)
B&NES partner BWCE's Home Energy Service is a local hub of independent support and expert advice designed specifically for B&NES residents.
They offer home energy assessments, providing tailored, impartial advice to help you find the best energy efficient solutions for your home. This includes a cost-effective Home Energy Efficiency Plan, created in partnership with Retrofit West. These are available with the 70% off voucher from Retrofit West.

tailored support for people living in listed buildings (Green Heritage Homes). BWCE energy professionals and conservation officers from Bath & North East Somerset Council can advise on options to improve a listed home's energy efficiency.

Green Open Homes events that give residents the opportunity to visit energy efficient homes and hear from fellow B&NES homeowners' about their experience installing and living with various measures - from solar panels and batteries, to insulation, efficient glazing and new heating options.

This is a Government endorsed quality scheme for work carried out in or around your home. TrustMark licences and audits over 35 Scheme Providers with over 15,000 Registered Businesses. These include: plumbers, electricians, builders, carpet cleaners, landscape gardeners and more trades in-between.
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) works with industry to define, maintain and improve quality by certifying low carbon energy technologies and the contractors who install them.
